About The Position

The Restaurant Server is a customer-focused member of the restaurant team who helps create an exceptional guest experience. The role includes preparing the restaurant before service, welcoming guests, guiding them through the menu with descriptive selling, taking accurate orders and confirming special requests, and presenting bills promptly and accurately. Servers collaborate with restaurant colleagues and kitchen and bar staff, and help resolve guest concerns. The position calls for an engaging attitude, the ability to work quickly under pressure, and a passion for hospitality.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of food service experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An engaging and welcoming personality.
• Ability to describe and sell menu items.
• A passion for creating exceptional experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant before each service.
• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
• Guide guests through the menu using descriptive selling.
• Take accurate orders and confirm special requests.
• Know the menu details to enhance conversations with guests.
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen and bar staff.
• Assist guests with concerns and guide them toward a satisfactory resolution.
• Present bills in a timely and accurate manner.
