Sand Molder - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Gemini is hiring a full-time Sand Molder at its Decorah, Iowa location. The role makes, assembles, and prepares sand molds; removes hardened sand from forms; and inspects and cleans molds and the mixer daily, removing solidified sand as needed. The work environment involves sand and varying temperatures. The position reports to the Plant Supervisor. The schedule is second shift, four 10-hour days from Monday through Thursday. Overtime is scheduled as needed and completed on Friday. The wage range is $22.88–$30.61 per hour. Compensation may vary based on candidate-specific factors and may be modified. The role is eligible for other benefits. Additional duties may be assigned or changed at any time.
Responsibilities
- Make, assemble, and prepare sand molds.
- Remove hardened sand from forms.
- Inspect and clean molds and the mixer daily, removing solidified sand as required.
