About The Position

Connectronics Corp., a U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors and cable assemblies, is hiring a Molder in Toledo, Ohio. The Molder produces molded parts, checks parts for defects, and supplies the required quantities for kits. The role involves preparing and operating molding equipment, removing excess material, and producing components on schedule. Experience is not required; training is available for the right candidate. A resume is not required, but job history is required for consideration.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Visual acuity.
• Strong manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail.
• Comfort using machines.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Molding experience is a plus, but is not required; the employer is willing to train the right person.
• Non-smokers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to identify required parts, product specifications, and material requirements.
• Position and align the assembled mold and die on the molding machine press bed.
• Set machine controls for forming pressure and plastic curing time.
• Run samples, inspect them for defects, and adjust machine setup to eliminate defects.
• Inspect all produced parts to ensure they are free of defects.
• Remove or trim excess material from products using knives or scrapers.
• Produce molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
• Perform other job functions as required.
