About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Full-Time Server to join our team at Boulevard Wentzville. This role is crucial in fostering a welcoming and connected environment for our residents. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, preparing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident well-being. We are looking for an energetic and positive individual who is passionate about serving seniors and contributing to a positive community atmosphere.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to assist persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
• Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Play a crucial part in making the community something to be proud of.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
