About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Boulevard Wentzville. This role involves creating a welcoming and engaging environment for residents, preparing dining areas and food items, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, possess strong English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe and clean environment. Arrow Senior Living is committed to diversity and inclusion in its employment practices.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for meals, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding resident dietary habits, appetite changes, or absences from meals.
