About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Boulevard Wentzville. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience for our residents. The Server will be responsible for greeting residents, fostering a connected environment, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. We are looking for an energetic individual who loves interacting with residents and is committed to upholding our core values.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to assist persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
• Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Play a crucial part in making the community something to be proud of.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents are absent from meals.
