About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Pinnacle Groves located at 5522 W Northgate Rd, Rogers, AR 72758. This role is responsible for greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing and reporting changes in residents' dietary habits or appetite to supervisors and Wellness. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years of age, able to communicate in English at an 8th-grade proficiency, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also involves assisting residents with mobility and ensuring they are criminally cleared.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
