About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia N Royalton. This part-time position involves greeting residents, preparing tables and dining areas, bussing tables, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and ensure a welcoming dining experience.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
