About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server for Vitalia N Olmsted located at 29801 Lorain Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be able to communicate effectively in English, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. This position also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe environment. Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors and maintain cleanliness.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or changes in appetite.
- Report resident absences from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
