About The Position
The world famous Sylvia's Restaurant is seeking enthusiastic Servers to join our team. Under the direction of our Managers and The Sylvia's Way Standards, the Server is responsible for serving our guests by providing excellent customer service, taking orders, delivering food, and answering any questions regarding the menu. All servers will work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently.
Requirements
- Have a great work ethic and commitment to uncompromising hospitality
- Basic to intermediate English communication skills
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs as needed
Nice To Haves
- Restaurant Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Enthusiastically greet and welcome guests in a timing manner
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent Hospitality
- Have knowledge of a POS system
- Maintain the restaurant with regards to cleanliness, neatness and customer accessibility
- Work as a team member to support other restaurant employees in their duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager or Assistant Manager
