About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Boulevard St Peters. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for our residents. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, fostering a connection, preparing the dining area, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude who is passionate about serving seniors and can meet the physical demands of the role.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Must be able to assist persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
• Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Play a crucial part in making the community something to be proud of.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
• Report when residents are absent from meals.
