Server 11:30am-7:30pm $15-22 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Cambridge located at 2900 S Jefferson Avenue, Springfield, MO 65807. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for our residents. As a Server, you will greet residents, foster a connected environment, prepare tables and meals, maintain cleanliness, and observe resident dining habits. We are looking for individuals who are at least sixteen years of age, can communicate effectively in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and are physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to assist residents with mobility and a clean criminal record are also required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Buss tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
