Server - X Center Apex Grille
About The Position
The Apex Grille at M1 Concourse's X Center is looking for experienced, engaging servers for our opening team. We're building a restaurant where polished service doesn't mean scripted service. We want people who can read a table, know their menu, understand pacing and make guests feel genuinely welcome. You'll develop strong knowledge of our food, cocktails, beer and wine; guide guests through the menu; communicate allergies accurately; and work closely with bartenders, runners and our culinary team. Polished-casual, upscale-casual or high-volume full-service experience is preferred. We're looking for hospitality professionals with personality, awareness, professionalism and genuine warmth. The X Center Apex Grille Server is responsible for providing knowledgeable, efficient and personalized hospitality while maximizing the guest experience and supporting restaurant revenue. This position guides guests through the menu, accurately manages food and beverage orders, anticipates table needs and coordinates with culinary and service Team Members throughout the dining experience. The Server maintains detailed knowledge of menu ingredients, beverages, specials and allergen procedures and promotes appropriate selections through thoughtful recommendations. The X Center Apex Grille Server shall represent M1 Concourse with the highest level of professionalism and decorum.

Responsibilities
- Accurately prepares and presents guest checks, processes payments and completes required point-of-sale transactions.
- Accurately takes and enters food and beverage orders, including temperatures, modifications, allergies, courses and special requests.
- Checks back with guests promptly after food delivery and responds to questions, concerns or additional requests.
- Completes assigned opening, running and closing side work accurately and within established timeframes.
- Coordinates with Bartenders, food runners, culinary Team Members and other Servers to support accurate and timely service.
- Delivers food and beverages when appropriate and confirms that each item is presented to the correct guest.
- Identifies food-allergy and dietary concerns and follows established procedures for communicating them to culinary and management Team Members.
- Introduces the menu, communicates daily specials and explains relevant ingredients, preparation methods and available options.
- Maintains awareness of assigned tables, including order status, beverage levels, course progression and anticipated guest needs.
- Maintains beverage service throughout the meal, including water, nonalcoholic beverages, beer, wine and cocktails.
- Maintains compliance with M1 Concourse policies, Apex Grille procedures and applicable alcohol-service, food-safety, sanitation and safety requirements.
- Maintains detailed knowledge of food, beverage, wine, cocktail, promotional and seasonal offerings.
- Maintains table cleanliness, organization and presentation throughout service.
- Monitors alcohol consumption, verifies identification and follows responsible alcohol-service requirements.
- Pre-busses throughout the meal and removes finished items without disrupting the guest experience.
- Protects guest payment information and maintains control of assigned checks, cash and payment devices.
- Provides informed menu recommendations based on guest preferences, dietary needs and the intended dining experience.
- Recommends beverages, appetizers, accompaniments, enhancements, desserts and other appropriate menu additions.
- Resets tables promptly according to established standards, including serviceware, glassware, linens, menus and condiments.
- Responds professionally to service concerns and promptly involves management when additional assistance is required.
- Stocks, cleans and organizes assigned service stations and communicates replenishment needs promptly.
- Supports catering bars, private events and terrace service and assists other restaurant Team Members as operational needs require.
- Uses suggestive selling naturally and professionally to enhance the guest experience and support restaurant revenue.
- Verifies order details with guests when necessary and reviews entered orders for accuracy before submission.
- Welcomes and acknowledges guests promptly and establishes a professional, attentive and personalized service experience.
- Performs all other duties as may be required and assigned.
