About The Position

Juniper, the Beautiful Rooftop Restaurant, located atop AC Hotel by Marriott
Greenville Downtown is looking to hire energetic, experienced and friendly Food
& Beverage Servers whose personalities match the energy of Juniper! Our Food &
Beverage Servers help to ensure the overall success of our hotel by not just
meeting but exceeding our guests' expectation for excellent service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must be able to read speak and understand English

Responsibilities

• Ensuring guest satisfaction, through friendly interaction with our guests and attention to detail when serving our guests.
• Taking responsibility for setting workstations prior to opening, and cleaning at the end of shift, to prepare stations for next day.
• Learning all menu items, their garnish, contents and preparation methods, answering guest questions regarding such with confidence and accuracy.
• Greeting guests promptly at table and utilizing suggestive selling techniques.
• Monitoring dishes before serving, to make sure quality, appearance and temperature are correct.
• Sharing information about the property and the downtown area in response to guest inquiries.
