About The Position

Year-round full-time or part-time opportunities available. The starting wage for this role is $10.85/hour + tips. Staff accommodation not available, candidates are required to secure their own accommodation.

Requirements

1+ year of serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, banquet, or hospitality environment preferred.
Strong guest service and communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to carry trays, plates, and glassware safely and confidently.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and service excellence.
Reliable, flexible, and able to work an on-call schedule based on business demands, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous banquet or event service experience is an asset.
Experience using POS systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during banquets, meetings, weddings, and special events.
Set up and prepare event spaces according to event specifications and service standards.
Serve food and beverages for plated, buffet, reception-style, and other banquet functions.
Monitor guest needs throughout events and respond promptly to requests.
Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented event and service areas.
Assist with event setup, teardown, and resetting of banquet spaces.
Work closely with banquet, culinary, and other hotel teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Support other Food & Beverage operations as needed.
Be available for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
