Requirements

  • 1+ year of serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, banquet, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Strong guest service and communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to carry trays, plates, and glassware safely and confidently.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
  • Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and service excellence.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work an on-call schedule based on business demands, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous banquet or event service experience is an asset.
  • Experience using POS systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service during banquets, meetings, weddings, and special events.
  • Set up and prepare event spaces according to event specifications and service standards.
  • Serve food and beverages for plated, buffet, reception-style, and other banquet functions.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout events and respond promptly to requests.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented event and service areas.
  • Assist with event setup, teardown, and resetting of banquet spaces.
  • Work closely with banquet, culinary, and other hotel teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Support other Food & Beverage operations as needed.
  • Be available for on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
