About The Position

As a Server at Stone Creek Montgomery, you help create a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, accurately managing orders, serving food and beverages promptly, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. A friendly and attentive demeanor contributes to the restaurant’s overall success. The role involves coordinating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers; promoting menu items; and following health, safety, and company policies.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and help them feel welcome.
Assist guests with menu selections and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
Provide prompt and courteous service, and address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, enter them into the restaurant POS system, and check orders before submitting them to the kitchen.
Coordinate special requests and dietary restrictions with kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to presentation standards.
Perform tableside tasks, including wine presentations, bread and oil service, and water service.
Promote wine pairings, specialty cocktails, desserts, daily specials, beverages, and other items or upgrades.
Monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, and provide requested items; ensure meals have appropriate condiments and accompaniments.
Set up and clean tables and help keep the dining area clean, maintained, and stocked.
Assist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to support smooth restaurant operations.
Communicate guest feedback and special requests to appropriate team members.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety regulations, and company policies for alcohol service and guest conduct.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
