About The Position

As a Server at StoryPoint Upper Arlington, you will perform food service functions and maintain clean and sanitary service areas, facilities, and equipment. You will serve meals to residents and guests, provide timely, high-quality service, and contribute to a positive, professional, and teamwork-oriented environment. The role involves standing for extended periods and interacting with residents, guests, and other associates. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.

Requirements

• Must be friendly and provide excellent customer service.
• Must consistently foster a teamwork environment.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and associates.
• Must be able to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals professionally and demonstrate genuine concern for residents and guests.
• Follow safe food-handling and sanitation practices.
• Complete assigned side work and setup and breakdown duties.
• Ensure residents and guests receive high-quality food in a timely manner.
• Maintain a positive attitude, professional behavior, and good personal hygiene.
• Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed.
• Handle resident concerns and complaints tactfully and professionally.
• Follow all Dining Services Standards of service.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the service area, facilities, and equipment.
