About The Position

The Production Assembler builds products by following verbal and written assembly instructions while maintaining speed, accuracy, quality, productivity, and safety standards. The role involves learning different line jobs, helping in other departments as needed, and carrying out other duties assigned by a supervisor or manager. Work is primarily indoors in a climate-controlled building and includes extended periods of standing and walking. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate.
Ability to recognize letters, numbers, and colors.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to perform basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish and English.
Prior assembly experience.
Forklift experience; training is available.

Responsibilities

Keep the workstation clean and organized.
Operate a manual or automatic tail machine, bow machine, glue gun, and/or balloon machine if needed.
Perform repetitive tasks involving hand squeezing, lifting, walking, standing, and bending.
Climb a ladder and/or crawl under a rack to retrieve components.
