Server 3pm-7:30pm $15-22.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Boulevard St Charles. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. We are looking for an individual with a positive and energetic attitude who is at least sixteen years old, can communicate effectively in English, and is comfortable with physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to assist residents with mobility and a willingness to undergo a criminal background check are also required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Ability to assist persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
