About The Position

Serves patrons in the Restaurant dining room by performing the following functions. Ensures compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians regulations and Kalispel Golf & Country Club policies and procedures. Greets guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Explains daily specials, menu features, and recommendations to guests. Takes beverage and food orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Serves food and beverages according to established service standards. Maintains knowledge of menu items, ingredients, beverages, and wine pairings. Answers guest questions and provides recommendations regarding food and beverage selections. Processes guest payments accurately and provides change when necessary. Maintains organized and accurate handling of guest checks and cash transactions. Provides attentive, friendly, and responsive service throughout the guest experience. Clears dishes, glassware, and table settings in a timely and professional manner. Maintains assigned dining sections and service stations. Assists fellow team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations and exceptional guest service. Completes assigned side work and opening/closing duties. Maintains clean, organized, and fully stocked service stations. Completes required paperwork, tip reporting, and shift-end responsibilities accurately. Communicates guest concerns, compliments, and operational issues to leadership. Attends required training sessions and meetings. Maintains confidentiality of tip records and business information. Supports special projects and additional assignments as directed by leadership. May be required to serve as a panelist for Internal Review Hearings. Responsible for maintaining regular attendance and punctuality. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Payment Card Industry Training.
  • Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and give proper change.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
  • Ability to learn and operate the POS system.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
  • Washington State Food Handler Permit within 14 days of start date.
  • Hepatitis A vaccination.
  • Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • One to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working as a waiter/waitress preferred.
