C&Gs Grill Server
About The Position
The SERVER for Island View Casino Resort's C&Gs Grill is required to provide fast, friendly and professional customer service to restaurant guests, staff and culinary production team. Responsible for greeting and making welcome each guest seated in any assigned station. Maintains current and accurate knowledge of menu (e.g., preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients and plate presentation). Suggests items to guests including appetizers, beverages, desserts based on their expressed preferences. Accurately enters food and beverage orders into the point of sale (POS) system to ensure precise preparation of the product. Delivers prepared food to the appropriate guest upon production of the order.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous food server experience in a high volume or casual fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent customer service/communication skills.
