About The Position
As a Dining Server at Sunrise Senior Living, you provide timely, professional meal service and create a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests in a senior living community. You help cultivate a hospitable environment by building positive connections and delivering excellent service each shift. The role includes taking and delivering food and beverage orders, helping residents choose menu items, maintaining dining areas, and following food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. Responsibilities
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions.
- Bus and reset tables according to community standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro.
- Complete assigned side work and opening and closing duties.
- Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
- Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Build positive connections and provide excellent service to residents and guests.
