Server (DRCM)
About The Position
At Sunrise Senior Living, the Server provides timely, professional meal service while creating a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents and guests in a senior living community. The role helps cultivate a hospitable environment by building positive connections and delivering excellent service each shift. The Server takes and delivers food and beverage orders, assists residents with menu selections, maintains dining spaces, and follows food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards. The position also includes completing side work and opening and closing duties, attending pre-meal meetings, and using Sunrise systems to enter and deliver orders accurately.
Responsibilities
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions.
- Bus and reset tables according to community standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro.
- Complete assigned side work and opening and closing duties.
- Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
- Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Build positive connections and deliver excellent service to residents and guests.
