Server (DRCM)
About The Position
At Sunrise Senior Living, the Server provides timely, professional meal service and creates a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests in a senior living community. The role helps cultivate a hospitable environment through positive connections and excellent service on every shift. The Server takes and delivers food and beverage orders, assists residents with menu selections, maintains dining areas, completes assigned side work and opening or closing duties, attends pre-meal meetings, uses Sunrise systems for order entry and meal delivery, and follows food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
Responsibilities
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions.
- Bus and reset tables according to community standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro.
- Complete assigned side work and opening and closing duties.
- Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
- Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
- Build positive connections and deliver excellent service to residents and guests.
