About The Position

Holeman and Finch Public House is seeking Servers to join their team of hospitality professionals. This role involves engaging with guests, guiding them through menus, building relationships, and creating a welcoming and memorable experience. Servers will provide menu and brand insight, actively address guest needs, and act as a communicator between front and back of house regarding allergies and special requests. The restaurant is described as a classic gastropub with artisanal twists on classic dishes, a whole animal, whole vegetable philosophy, a robust wine list, original cocktails, and a charming space filled with cozy booths and curated art, nodding to Midtown's vibrant arts scene.

Requirements

  • Weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) availability required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 3+ year(s) of relevant experience
  • Able to move and/or lift heavier product
  • Able to stand for long periods of time; occasionally kneel, bend, and crouch as required to reach items at varying height levels
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment calmly and effectively

Responsibilities

  • Guiding guests from the beginning to the end of their dining experience
  • Setting up the restaurant in preparation for and during service
  • Set up and maintain clean, organized service stations according to brand standards; restocks all items as needed throughout shift
  • Delivering food and beverage to tables, pouring water, and clearing tables between courses
  • Work as a team player, helping your fellow team with guest interactions and duties to contribute to a positive working environment
  • Possess the ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and openly communicate with your manager and fellow service team about next steps
  • Consistent adherence to the uniform policy
  • Reports for duty on time and manages one’s shift, communicating with the management team when leaving their station for breaks or family meal
