Part Time Server - Senior Living

About The Position

At Tenfold Senior Living, the Server delivers excellent dining services to residents by learning their preferences and needs. The role supports a compassionate, friendly, and efficient dining experience across three dining room venues and works collaboratively with the Dining team. Servers take orders using a digital point-of-sale system, maintain dining and beverage areas, and keep the servery and dining room clean. The scheduled hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The listed salary is $17.00 to $18.50, depending on experience. Tenfold maintains a COVID-safe environment; team members and residents must be fully vaccinated or eligible for a reasonable accommodation for medical or sincerely held religious reasons.

Requirements

Be at least 17 years of age.
Hold a current California food handlers card.
Have an interest in interacting with and deeply relating to seniors.
Meet all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE.
Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide a compassionate, friendly, and efficient dining experience in all three dining room venues.
Support and encourage fellow Dining team members.
Use a digital POS system to take residents’ food and beverage orders in a timely and organized manner.
Know the menu and its ingredients, and memorize daily specials.
Set and clear tables and clean tabletops and condiment containers after every meal.
Keep the Bistro coffee and juice bar clean and fully supplied.
Keep the servery and dining room meticulously clean at all times.
