About The Position

The Server position at Muckleshoot Restaurant is a part-time role focused on providing excellent guest service and a positive dining experience. The server will be responsible for preparing and maintaining tables, taking orders, presenting food and beverages, and ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and procedures. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
  • Minimum of 1 (one) year serving experience required
  • Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit (required).
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class 12 Alcohol Permit (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of wines.
  • Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations as required.
  • Ability to speak at length with guests about the food and beverage selections, aiding their decision-making process.
  • Ability to accurately receive and enter food and beverage orders through the given POS system and must possess knowledge of fine-dining coursing with appropriate and timely steps of service.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent guest service skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a well-groomed presence and always maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplifies Muckleshoot Indian Casino Resort's values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
  • Prepare and maintain a detailed table, before, during and after guests are served.
  • Take orders and present food to guests.
  • Help guests’ select food and beverage items (i.e.: explaining daily specials, offering appetizers, or answering food preparation questions).
  • Keep wait station area clean and restocked.
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Complete specific daily/weekly cleaning duties.
  • Provide excellent guest service by providing a positive dining experience.
  • Conclude dining experience by thanking the guests and inviting them to return.
  • Create, maintains, and facilitates a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.
