About The Position
Spring Arbor Senior Living of Williamsburg is hiring a Server to provide friendly, professional dining service to residents and guests in an assisted living community. The role includes greeting and seating residents and guests, serving meals, clearing tables, maintaining a clean and sanitized dining room, delivering and retrieving trays from residents’ apartments as needed, and labeling and dating food. The position is available in full-time and part-time schedules. Starting pay is $15.38 per hour, with higher pay based on experience; same-day pay options are available.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability, safety awareness, and the ability to work as a team player.
- Must pass a criminal background screening.
- Must adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy; the community is a drug-free workplace.
Nice To Haves
- Food-serving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
- Serve food efficiently and professionally.
- Clear glasses, silverware, dishes, and other items after residents and guests finish a course or meal, following Company protocol.
- Keep the dining room clean; wipe down and sanitize chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas after each meal period.
- Deliver trays to and retrieve trays from residents’ apartments as needed.
- Label and date all food.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
