About The Position
Little Hen is opening a new location in Fort Lauderdale on Las Olas and is seeking experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Servers to join their opening team. Little Hen is a high-volume brunch restaurant recognized for its beautiful food presentation, elevated service, and welcoming guest experience. They are looking for professional, positive team members who can create memorable experiences for every guest.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant serving experience required
- High-volume brunch or upscale casual experience preferred
- Strong communication and guest service skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Weekend availability is required
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent hospitality from arrival to departure
- Learn and confidently explain the menu, beverages, specials, and afternoon tea offerings
- Take orders accurately and communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar team
- Maintain strong table presence, timing, and guest follow-up throughout service
- Upsell food, beverages, and featured items in a professional way
- Support side work, opening and closing duties, and overall dining room organization
- Work as part of a team to maintain smooth service in a fast-paced brunch environment
- Handle guest needs or concerns with professionalism and urgency
