About The Position

Little Hen is a stylish, high-volume brunch restaurant known for beautiful food, specialty coffee, brunch cocktails, and warm hospitality. We are opening our Fort Lauderdale location and are looking for experienced Baristas / Bartenders to join our opening team. This position requires strong coffee skills, cocktail knowledge, speed, organization, and excellent guest service.

Requirements

Previous barista experience required
Latte art experience is a must
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail and beverage presentation
Knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and milk steaming
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Must be available weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

Bartending experience preferred
Food handler certification preferred
Responsible vendor/alcohol certification preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso drinks, teas, matcha, lattes, and specialty beverages according to Little Hen standards
Create consistent latte art — required for this position
Prepare brunch cocktails, mimosas, champagne cocktails, and other bar beverages
Follow recipes, measurements, and presentation standards
Maintain speed and quality during high-volume brunch service
Keep the coffee/bar station clean, stocked, and organized
Follow proper labeling, dating, FIFO, and sanitation procedures
Check glassware, garnishes, syrups, juices, and bar prep before service
Communicate with servers, managers, and kitchen during service
Provide friendly and professional guest service at the bar
Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties
