About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Mentor. This full-time position offers a pay range of $15 - $23 per hour. The Server role is crucial in creating a welcoming and positive dining experience for residents. Responsibilities include greeting residents, fostering a connected environment, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits and appetite changes. We are looking for an energetic and positive individual who is at least sixteen years of age, can communicate effectively in English, and is able to perform the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and assisting residents with mobility. A criminal background check is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
