Server 7am-3pm $18-20.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Part-Time Server to join our team at Holliday Farms located at 11143 Ambrose Lane, Zionsville, IN 46077. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years of age, possess strong English communication skills, have a positive and energetic attitude, be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and be able to assist residents with mobility. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
