The role includes setting up and breaking down dining tables and service areas, welcoming and guiding guests, making tailored food and beverage recommendations, coordinating course delivery with culinary and sommelier teams, and maintaining a clean dining atmosphere. Servers also handle guest checks and POS transactions, bus and reset tables, follow health and responsible alcohol service regulations, and comply with The Broadmoor’s operational, safety, and service standards. The position requires learning about the resort’s history and offerings and performing other assigned duties. The stated pay range is $23.00–$32.00 per hour, inclusive of base pay and service charge. The breakdown is a $6.42 hourly base wage plus service charge commission paid per shift; historical commission earnings average $16.00–$25.00 per hour and fluctuate seasonally. The position always pays at least the current Colorado minimum wage of $15.16 per hour.
