About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is hiring a service-oriented Server to deliver hospitality to guests in a hotel or restaurant setting. The role involves taking and accurately entering food orders, monitoring food distribution and presentation, maintaining a clean and properly set station, following applicable liquor regulations, and processing guest checks and payments. Servers also assist with bussing tables and perform other duties as assigned. The position requires familiarity with menu items and their preparation and service procedures, effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
• Team player.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and calculators.
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and issuing refunds.
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

• Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
• Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct recipients, are properly prepared and presented, and buffet displays are appealing.
• Check the station before, during, and after shifts for proper setup and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including rules regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Maintain familiarity with menu items and their preparation and service procedures.
• Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
• Assist with bussing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
