About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Server to provide hospitality and service to restaurant guests. The role includes taking orders, monitoring food delivery and presentation, maintaining a clean and properly set station, following liquor regulations, handling checks and payments, and assisting with table bussing. Requirements

At least one year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to work as part of a team and multitask.
Effective verbal communication skills.
Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and calculators.
Basic mathematical skills needed to make change and give refunds.

Nice To Haves

Post-high-school education is preferred.

Responsibilities

Seat guests and take accurate food orders.
Monitor food distribution to ensure meals reach the correct guests and are properly prepared and presented, or that the buffet is appealing.
Check the station before, during, and after the shift to ensure proper setup and cleanliness.
Follow applicable state, federal, and company liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
Learn menu items, their preparation, and service procedures.
Total checks, present them to guests, and accept payment.
Assist with bussing tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
