About The Position

Apex Entertainment Albany is hiring energetic, enthusiastic Servers to provide memorable dining experiences in a lively, fast-paced environment. Servers are the face of the guest experience, taking and delivering orders while providing friendly, attentive service and helping guests enjoy the venue’s food, beverages, promotions, attractions, and experiences. The role requires a professional, positive, team-oriented approach and a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to work a flexible schedule; evenings and weekends are required.
Experience with POS systems and strong cash-handling skills.
Strong multitasking, communication, and customer-service skills.
Ability to remain calm and positive in fast-paced situations.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of food and beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
Event service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient, attentive service throughout each guest’s visit and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Share knowledge of food, beverages, and promotions to make recommendations; respond professionally to guest questions and needs.
Accurately take food and beverage orders, including allergies and special requests, and deliver orders carefully.
Clear and reset tables, keeping the dining area clean and organized.
Learn the menu, including ingredients and allergen details, and stay informed about attractions and experiences to assist guests.
Complete opening and closing duties and keep service stations stocked and organized.
Support teammates by running food, answering phones, and pre-bussing as needed.
Monitor activity throughout the facility to anticipate guest needs and take on additional tasks assigned by management.
