About The Position

The Server will be responsible for serving food and drinks in a thoughtful manner, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves direct interaction with patrons, clear communication with the entire service team, and contributing to the overall efficiency and ambiance of the dining establishment. The server will also be expected to promote casino events and programs and perform closing duties.

Requirements

• ABLE Certification
• Ability to handle cash responsibly.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Teamwork skills are required to support the success and enjoyment of the guest.
• Previous Server or Wait staff Experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and drink items, ensuring correct temperature.
• Answer patron questions, including basic ingredients in food, to help identify potential allergy issues.
• Bus tables to ensure availability for the next guest.
• Communicate with wait staff, managers, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve coordination and enhance the guest dining experience.
• Promote current casino events and programs and provide guests with directions to all casino areas.
• Perform regular closing tasks, including side work, set up, maintaining station cleanliness, and end-of-shift tasks.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
