Requirements

  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Use of computers, working knowledge of POS system and software applications to input and research data.
  • Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally transfer up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Greets all guests and takes beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Prepares food and beverages for service to residents and guests in compliance with all health and safety regulations and presentation standards.
  • Accurately enters orders into the POS system.
  • Serves food and beverages to residents and guests with accuracy in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, meeting or exceeding guest service standards and expectations.
  • Works with and follows up with Supervisors and Managers to address and respond to residents’ concerns and requests in regard to food quality, service, and related matters.
  • Provides Managers and Supervisors with continuous feedback from residents on food preparation, presentation, and taste.
  • Performs side-work and other opening or closing duties as required.
  • Ensures that waitstaff stations are clean and maintained throughout the shift.
  • Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situation such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
  • Interacts with residents/clients and co-workers with patience, understanding and kindness in accordance with Arcadia Family of Companies’ mission and core values.
