About The Position

Clearwater Ahwautkee, a luxury senior living community in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a part-time Server. The Server helps make residents’ dining experiences pleasant and positive by providing high-quality customer service, maintaining dining areas, seating residents, and serving meals. The role also supports other kitchen and dining services as needed to ensure residents have a positive experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Background clearances as required by government regulations.
Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Nice To Haves

Work experience in a restaurant or food-service environment.
Serve Safe certificate.

Responsibilities

Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members, and guests professionally, efficiently, and courteously.
Assist residents with meal and menu selections as needed or requested.
Use proper dining etiquette, including serving from the left and clearing used dishes between courses.
Review residents’ dietary needs as outlined by the Culinary Director.
Track resident attendance at meals and report it promptly to the appropriate person.
Greet and seat residents properly, making extra efforts to help new residents feel welcome and comfortable.
Keep the dining area clean and sanitary and follow food-handling and serving policies and procedures.
Interact tactfully and amiably with residents, associates, and guests.
Clean and reset tables and return dishes to the kitchen.
Clean and set up dining and food-service areas, including stocking condiments and removing outdated items.
Cooperate with and assist other kitchen and dining services to support a positive resident dining experience.
Help break down deliveries, put away stock, and wash dishes as needed.
Deliver meals to resident rooms and collect trays after meal service as required.
Comply with Clearwater standards and regulations to support safe and efficient community operations.
Maintain a positive, professional image and high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the required uniform and name tag.
Represent Clearwater’s principles and core values.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
