Server - Curveball Kitchen
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Server for Curveball Kitchen at OKANA Resort and Indoor WaterPark in Oklahoma City. The server is responsible for guests’ restaurant experiences, including preparing tables before service, welcoming guests, presenting and describing the menu, taking accurate orders, serving food and beverages, and presenting bills. The role requires an engaging attitude, quick responses, and close collaboration with restaurant and kitchen/bar colleagues. Servers also assist guests with concerns and help resolve them to guests’ satisfaction. OKANA Resort and Indoor Water Park is located along the Oklahoma River near downtown Oklahoma City. The property features an indoor water park, more than 400 guest rooms and suites, dining options, and 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Requirements
- Engaging and welcoming personality.
- Ability to describe and sell menu items.
- Two to four years of food service experience.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the restaurant before each shift.
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant.
- Guide guests through the menu with descriptive selling.
- Take accurate orders and confirm special requests.
- Understand the menu in detail to support guest conversations.
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff.
- Assist guests with concerns and guide them toward a satisfactory resolution.
- Present bills accurately and promptly.
