About The Position

The Lookout Restaurant at Gray Monk Estate Winery is looking for enthusiastic Servers to join their team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional front-of-house service while creating elevated dining and wine-focused experiences through strong technical service, product knowledge, and genuine hospitality. They are seeking team members who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy connecting with guests, and take pride in delivering warm, professional service that reflects the quality of their estate and brand.

Requirements

• A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to build rapport with guests.
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A Serving It Right Certificate (required).

Responsibilities

• Provide warm and engaging service from the moment guests are seated until their departure.
• Adhere to the Property’s Standards of Service to ensure a consistent and exceptional dining experience.
• Build meaningful connections with guests, creating a memorable and personalized experience.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior service staff to maintain high service standards.
• Articulate our wine and food philosophies confidently to guests.
• Communicate guest requests and needs effectively with the kitchen, management, and team members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Promote Wine Club memberships and contribute to sales initiatives.
• Stay informed about on-property events and brand positioning to support marketing efforts.
• Accurately complete daily cash-outs and maintain updated training and certification records.
• Follow all safe work procedures and report any unsafe conditions to management.
