About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a part-time Server to join our team at Fremont located at 1520 E. Bates, Springfield, MO 65804. This role focuses on creating a welcoming and engaging dining experience for residents, ensuring the dining area is tidy, and observing resident dining habits. The ideal candidate will have a positive and energetic attitude, be able to communicate effectively with residents, and be physically capable of performing the duties required.

Requirements

At least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Ability to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
