About The Position

This position is responsible for providing a welcoming and friendly attitude, contributing to a teamwork-based work environment. The server will learn the menu to explain offerings, make recommendations, and suggestively sell to guests. They will ensure guests have a positive and memorable visit by providing a friendly welcome and farewell, suggesting promotions, accurately recording orders, and delivering food. The server will also check back with guests, provide refills, pre-bus tables, and partner with team members to meet all guest needs. Additionally, they will perform opening and closing duties, running side work, and ensuring the highest quality preparation and presentation of food and beverage items. Prompt response to guest needs and requests is essential. The server will present accurate checks, accept payments, and complete transactions efficiently. They will also answer the phone, assist with guest questions courteously, serve alcoholic beverages according to policy, and immediately notify management of incidents involving possible excessive alcohol consumption or impaired conditions. Processing guest checks and payments must comply with cash handling, credit card, and accounting policies. Tips must be reported in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations. A consistent, professional, and positive attitude is expected when communicating with guests and team members. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to learn the menu to explain offerings, make recommendations and suggestively sell to guests.
  • Must be able to accurately record guest orders in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to deliver food to guests.
  • Must be able to check back with guests, provide refills and pre-bus throughout the guest experience.
  • Must be able to partner with other Team Members to ensure all guest needs are met.

  • Must be able to ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food and beverage items are delivered to guests.
  • Must be attentive and responsive to guest needs and requests.
  • Must be able to present an accurate guest check, accept payment, and quickly complete the transaction.
  • Must be able to answer the phone and assist with answering guest questions in a friendly, courteous manner.
  • Must be able to serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with policy.
  • Must immediately notify management of incidents involving possible excessive alcohol consumption or an impaired condition.

  • Must report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations.

  • Partner with other Team Members to ensure Guests all guests needs are met.
