The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all Front of House (FOH) areas, ensuring adherence to Family Style Service. This role involves effective and courteous interaction with guests and employees, demonstrating resilience in challenging situations. The supervisor is responsible for the performance of FOH staff on a shift basis to guarantee exemplary guest satisfaction. They will also assist and advise other departments and personnel to ensure the overall success of the restaurant and company. Training, implementation, and follow-through of all training materials are key to ensuring proper staff development. Daily review of staffing levels is required to maintain and control costs in line with business levels, maximizing guest satisfaction. The supervisor will assist management with sanitation and nutrition practices to meet or exceed requirements. During operating hours, they will coordinate all FOH activities, including greeting, seating, dining room service, and FOH interactions, to provide the best possible food and service experience. Assistance with staff interviews, hiring, evaluations, coaching, and counseling is expected to develop employees and build a cohesive team. Maintaining costs through proper controls, inventory management, and ordering according to standards and practices is also a responsibility. The role requires completing all company-required training within designated time frames and performing other assigned duties.
