About The Position

Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities that offer varying levels of care including independent living, assisted living, and memory care in 25 properties currently in 5 states (Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Arkansas) and employs nearly 1,400 employees! We are looking for someone to be a Host with the Most, a Peppy Prepper, and a Titan of Tidiness. This role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate in English at a minimum of 8th-grade proficiency, and a willingness to engage with residents. The job involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, with the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after falls. Criminal clearance is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
