About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Vitalia Highland Heights in Highland Heights, Ohio. This is a part-time position with a starting wage of $15-$20 per hour. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday from 3 pm to 7:30 pm. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, preparing tables for service, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. We are looking for individuals with a positive and energetic attitude who love working with residents. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping, as well as the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and ensure they are cleared criminally.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
• Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
• Bus tables.
• Sweep floors.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Assist persons after a fall.
