About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join their team at Vitalia Solon. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness. The Server will also observe and report on residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The company emphasizes a home-like environment for both residents and team members, with opportunities for growth and employee appreciation.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, unusual changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Assist persons after a fall.
