About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Summit located at 16100 Chenal Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72223. This part-time position involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming dining environment, preparing tables and food items, bussing tables, sweeping floors, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to communicate effectively in English, and physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will also assist residents with mobility and after falls. Criminal clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active; requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prep tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed, as well as when residents are absent from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
