About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Full-Time Server to join our team at Castlewood located in Nixa, MO. This role is crucial in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, maintaining the dining room's ambiance, preparing tables and meals, ensuring cleanliness, and observing resident dining habits and appetite changes. We are looking for an energetic and positive individual who loves interacting with our residents and is committed to upholding our core values.

Requirements

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Must be able to assist persons after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
• Understand that successful meal service requires preparation.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Play a crucial part in making the community something to be proud of.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
• Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
